Website measurement

We use measurement to understand which pages are useful and make it easier to find information and contact us.

Your choice

Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity load only after you select “Allow analytics”. Choose “No thanks” to use the site without these tools. Use “Analytics choices” at the bottom of any page to change your preference. Your preference is stored in your browser.

What the tools collect

Google Analytics measures page visits, traffic sources, article scrolling, contact-link clicks and successful inquiries. Microsoft Clarity provides heatmaps and session replays of interactions such as clicks and scrolling. These services may receive device, browser and network information as part of their operation and use cookies after you agree.

We do not send inquiry names, email addresses, business names or message contents as analytics events. Contact and newsletter forms are masked for Clarity. We do not enable advertising consent or Google signals in the site integration.

See Google’s privacy policy and Microsoft’s privacy statement for how they process information.

Traffic sources and inquiries

When analytics is allowed, we keep the landing page, referring website and campaign labels for the current tab session. If you submit an inquiry, those details accompany it so we can understand how you found us. URL query strings are not copied wholesale. Inquiry details are stored separately by Mode Lab so we can respond.

Further newsletter

Further subscriptions use a separate Kit form and confirmation flow. Analytics permission does not subscribe you, and submitting an inquiry does not subscribe you. Kit is the source of record for confirmed subscriptions.

For questions, contact Mode Lab.

Help us improve the site

With your permission, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity measure visits, clicks and scrolling, including session replays. Form details are masked. You can use the site without analytics.
